Use 3-3 fingering when descending the fretboard from shape to shape.

Keep in mind - For each exercise it doesn’t matter how you get there (fingering) as much as you start to HEAR where “there is.”

PART ONE

C Major Pentatonic

Start by slowly working your way around the fretboard playing all of the C Root Notes that you can find.

When I was still memorizing the fretboard, I would leave my tuning device turned on. That way, if I didn’t the note I was playing I would glance at my headstock and quickly connect the note with the tone I was hearing.
